Hooray for Hollywood! In the March 1932 issue, our editors profiled a great looking brake service shop in California. The vernacular may seem a bit dated today but the business professionalism highlighted is still worth striving for.

The March 1932 issue of Brake Service featured a “humdinger” of a service facility.


“The brake section of the Safety Corner forms one side of the premises and faces the lot where other departments such as gasoline, tires, batteries, etc., operate, although it is a distinct unit in itself,” our editors explained. Owner Jimmie Jameson said such an arrangement is ideal where the several managers work together and cooperate.
