Once you have downloaded the app and apply it to specific ads and articles throughout the magazine, it actually brings the printed piece to life. The technology known as Augmented Reality allows you the reader to unlock more content by using your smart device.

1. From your Apple or Android device, visit www.AVIplayApp.com to ­download AVI PLAY, or go to your app store and search AVI PLAY to download.

2. Open the AVI PLAY App once it’s downloaded and hold your device over this page to unlock a message from me, including some fascinating graphics that will appear on your device’s screen. 

Look for the AVI PLAY App logo and callouts identifying technical features and advertisements powered by AVI PLAY beginning with this issue, and every issue of TechShop moving forward.

It’s all about expanding the amount of relevant information for you with each issue of TechShop.

"As we embark on this historic fundraising initiative, we are inspired by the generosity and compassion of our supporters.
