Performance Friction Corporation recently announced that its Carbon Metallic brand of disc brake pads meet all the requirements of California’s proposed legislation SB346 and the state of Washington’s SB6557 reducing copper and other contaminants.   

Carbon Metallic disc pads have been tested and passed federal OE stopping distance requirements and more importantly have passed the real world usage test of police fleets across the country including; California, Washington, Nevada, Texas, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina to name a few. 

Carbon Metallic disc pads are used by OE manufacturers and major national truck and bus fleets such as Ryder, U-Haul, FedEx, Durham and First Student.
