ASE Introduces New EPA-Approved Section 609 Training And Certification Program
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has announced its 2015 version of the Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling Review and Quiz Program. ASE Announces New Light Duty Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Certification

ASE Undercar X1 Specialist Certification: Not What You Would Expect
Are you one of the 7,570 technicians who are ASE-Certified Undercar Specialists? If not, you should be. I recently took the X1 Exhaust Test to qualify as an Undercar Specialist. To gain this certification you must be concurrently certified for Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5) from the Automobile & Light Truck Test Series, and Exhaust Systems (X1) from the Specialty Test Series.
ALI Lift Inspector Certification Program Expands Computer-Based Testing Into Canada
Canadian candidates enrolled in the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) Lift Inspector Certification Program now have more options for taking the two required program exams. ALI had previously offered only paper and pencil versions of its Pre-Course Exam and Course Exam on specific dates in Canada. The organization will now offer computer-based versions of the exams on-demand at testing centers across Canada.
ASE Launches Maintenance And Light Repair Certification
The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has launched a new certification test aimed at those technicians primarily involved with vehicle maintenance and light repair services.
