As a part of their inspections, volunteers checked essential vehicle fluids, oil levels, tire air pressure and replenished fluids as needed. In addition, each vehicle owner received a “Car Care Aware” brochure, a mirror hanger with top 10 fuel savings tips and a car care checklist.

“This was an incredibly fun and informative event for our people,” said Max Dull, vice president and general manager of APW. “It is a fantastic way to build awareness for the Auto Care Association’s efforts to educate consumers on the importance of proper vehicle maintenance. It was also a great team-building event for the staff. We all really enjoyed ourselves.”

Employees participating in the inspections were given a Bumper to Bumper bag with samples of product. Samples included shop towels, window cleaner, tire shine, engine protectant/shine, car wax, dry lubricant and an Auto Value/Bumper to Bumper throw blanket.
