At Just Brakes, we really do care about brake safety. Just Brakes, in cooperation with the Automotive and Maintenance Repair Association (AMRA) and the Motorist Assurance Program (MAP), is taking a proactive role in the community by promoting Brake Safety Awareness Week in all of our markets from August 27th through September 1st, 2007. During Brake Safety Awareness Week, Just Brakes will offer a FREE visual brake inspection to all of our customers.

MAP’s purpose is to strengthen the relationship between the motorist and the automotive service repair industry through education of both the motorist and service provider, and through the creation of industry standards. MAP works to improve communication and trust between the industry and its customers.

“Preventative maintenance is vital to avoiding brake safety problems,” says Bennett Cloud, president and CEO. “We put our customer’s safety first and that’s why we are encouraging them to have their brakes checked annually or every 20,000 miles, whichever comes first. Brakes Safety Awareness Week is a great time to check your brakes and learn about brake safety.”
