SKF - Two Guys GarageThe lubrication passageways in some u-joints tend to weaken their construction, but Willie B said the SKF Brute Force U-joint virtually eliminates those passages, which adds thicker construction to the u-joint making it stronger.

In addition, the company moved the grease fitting to the end, making the u-joint easily serviceable. The pieces also use high-strength, heat-treated steel, as well as nitrile rubber seals designed to withstand salt, mud, dirt and other corrosive elements, added Kevin.
