Aisin To Celebrate Aftermarket Success At AAPEX

AisinAisin, one of the automotive industry’s largest manufacturers of aftermarket parts, including cooling, drivetrain and engine products; electronics; and chemicals and fluids is exhibiting this week for the 19th consecutive year at the Automotive Aftermarket Parts Expo (AAPEX).

Aisin will be prominently located at the Sands Convention Center (Booth No. 1843) and will display a wide assortment of its industry-leading Aftermarket components, along with the famous “Aisin Demo Car.” The iconic exhibit feature has attracted crowds at global motor shows in Paris, Frankfurt, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo and Detroit. The next-generation Demo Car is equipped with the latest Aisin innovations displaying OE and aftermarket competencies with a wide range of products and systems.

Aisin’s General Manager of Aftermarket Sales, Bob Clark, said the Aisin display will inform and educate. “We put a lot of thought and strategic planning into our exhibit, and I know that it’ll be helpful to AAPEX attendees who want to learn more about quality aftermarket parts and why Aisin components lead in so many categories,” said Clark. “And since the Aisin Demo Car is such an attraction, I expect steady crowds at our booth throughout the show.”

Of the aftermarket products being displayed in the Aisin exhibit, three have been entered in the annual Auto International Association (AIA) Import Product Awards, including:

• For the AIA “Best New Product” category: Aisin Inverter Pump entered for its innovative design as a lightweight, compact hybrid inverter; Aisin Shift Actuator, which allows drivers to shift from high to low gears and from 2WD to 4WD

• For the AIA “Best Overall Product” category: Aisin Timing Chain Cover entered for its precise fitment, easy installation and optimal cooling

“Aisin is expanding its product reach to better address the needs for aftermarket parts early in the replacement cycle rather than later,” said Clark. “Increasing our product offering means we’re in a better position to help the service industry provide and install the same quality parts that came on the vehicle as original equipment. These three products, which were previously unavailable through aftermarket channels, are an important part of this effort.”

Aisin’s award entries will be prominently displayed at AAPEX in the AIA showcase located near the show entrance. Entries and award winners will be recognized Nov. 4 at AAPEX.
