Matco Tools recently introduced the exclusively designed AC788 and AC789H R/R/R machines. Certified for compliance with SAE J2788 for the recovering, recycling and recharging of R-134a, these machines provide all of the features and benefits designed with the modern automotive repair shop in mind.

Both the AC788 and AC789H include a refrigerant database, auto air purge, auto vacuum leak test, auto oil discharge, oil injection low and full refrigerant alarm with large graphic display and thermal printer. The industry-leading 6 CFM vacuum pump allows technicians to quickly and efficiently remove air and moisture from the A/C system with the dual filter design. For added protection against moisture and contaminants, the machines also include an auto filter alarm which warns the technician of the percentage of remaining filter life.

“Our newest R/R/R machines give users more of the features they need,” said Chris Cremer, product manager at Matco Tools. “The 6 CFM vacuum pump, graphic display, printer and dual filter design are features that many R/R/R machines in the industry don’t have, and these are crucial elements in making an AC technician’s job easier.”

The AC788 and AC789H incorporate an easy-to-navigate multi-functional large graphic display, which allows technicians to easily perform all functions and access maintenance and informative features. Both machines also include a thermal printer, providing accurate customer and owner documentation including when the refrigerant was recovered and charged. Plus, the AC789H incorporates a full flushing system that eliminates the risk of residual oils from standard R-134a vehicles into a hybrid R-134a system.

The AC788 and AC789H R/R/R machines are available exclusively through Matco Tools. To locate a distributor in your area or for more information, call 1-866-289-8665 or visit www.matcotools.com.
