Mitchell 1 ProDemand Maintenance Module Updated With Improved User Interface

Mitchell 1 has updated the Maintenance Module of its ProDemand repair, diagnostic and maintenance information program with an improved user interface so that customers can more easily understand and access maintenance services.

Mitchell 1 has updated the Maintenance Module of its ProDemand repair, diagnostic and maintenance information program with an improved user interface so that customers can more easily understand and access maintenance services.

“With maintenance service accounting for about 50 percent of jobs in the automotive aftermarket, having a more streamlined user experience with the new ProDemand Maintenance Module improves the technician’s ability to access this information, helping to increase overall efficiency,” said Mike Alberry, Mitchell 1 product manager for ProDemand.

The ProDemand Maintenance Module update includes:

• A complete redesign of the maintenance overview;

• Mileage and indicator based maintenance items have been placed in a carousel format with panels that slide horizontally to present the information in an easy-to-read graphical view; and

• Similar maintenance services are grouped together.

“Today’s savvy consumers understand the importance of maintaining their cars as a long-term investment,” said Alberry. “This contributes to the need for the aftermarket to have easily-accessible maintenance information. With the improvements made to our Maintenance Module in ProDemand, technicians can now access the maintenance services and information quicker and more easily to perform those services.”

ProDemand delivers accurate repair information to help automotive technicians complete their repair jobs faster, easier and smarter, without the need for further research. ProDemand is concise, providing only the descriptions, procedures, specifications and diagrams that technicians need, so they don’t have to spend their valuable time sorting through volumes of information to find the one necessary item. SureTrack adds to the power of ProDemand with an exclusive combination of expert knowledge and detailed parts replacement records, all wrapped in an interactive community. SureTrack is currently offered as a free preview in ProDemand. For more information about ProDemand, visit www.prosdemandit.com.
