Mitchell 1 Enhances ProDemand With More Expert-Based Content And Real Fixes

mitchell1Mitchell 1 has enhanced its ProDemand repair, diagnostic and maintenance software with an infusion of new expert-based information and expanded features to help auto service professionals diagnose and repair vehicles faster and with more accuracy.

In 2013, Mitchell 1 introduced advanced 1Search technology that integrates the detailed OEM information in ProDemand with real-world content from SureTrack, the diagnostic module in ProDemand, to provide comprehensive, categorized repair information together in a user-friendly interface. With the latest product update, every lookup in ProDemand now delivers:

• More SureTrack Real Fixes generated from a growing database of tips contributed by professional technicians and insight extracted from successfully-completed repair orders

• More Common Replaced Parts graphs covering a broader range of code, component and symptom lookups so technicians can see at a glance the most likely root cause of the problem

• Enhanced component test information with connector views to help confirm the diagnosis

• Scope waveforms and data graphs served up automatically, providing a point of reference to verify faulty parts

“We are continuously adding new features and data to our software solutions in order to bring customers more value,” said Gary Hixson, market manager for ProDemand. “Our ProDemand team has been especially busy this year, with a focus on improving our expert-based information from SureTrack. With our most recent product release, we can now bring even more real-world information to technicians, along with all the OEM data, giving them a head start when diagnosing and repairing vehicles.”

ProDemand optimized with SureTrack helps automotive technicians complete their repair jobs faster and with more confidence. Vehicle-specific data in SureTrack is generated from millions of successful fixes shared by professional technicians and consolidated from numerous sources, eliminating the need for technicians to log in multiple times to access different sources to gather and analyze information. ProDemand is also integrated with Manager SE, Mitchell 1’s industry-leading shop management system, further streamlining workflow to increase shop efficiency.
