Stertil-Koni Introduces New Version Of ECOLIFT

Stertil-Koni recently announced that it has introduced a new generation of its U.S.-patented, heavy-duty scissor lift, ECOLIFT. ECOLIFT is available in a two-scissor or three-scissor configuration with total lifting capacity of 60,000 lbs. and 90,000 lbs. respectively.

Stertil-Koni, a leader in heavy duty vehicle lifts — notably bus lifts, truck lifts and U.S. Military vehicle lifts — recently announced that it has introduced a new generation of its U.S.-patented, heavy-duty scissor lift, ECOLIFT.

An ultra-shallow, full-rise, in-ground lifting system, ECOLIFT is available in a two-scissor or three-scissor configuration with total lifting capacity of 60,000 lbs. and 90,000 lbs. respectively. The most recent version of ECOLIFT now features fully flush-mounted aluminum pit covers for even greater convenience and safety.

In making the recent announcement, Stertil-Koni president, Dr. Jean DellAmore, stated: “As the industry leader in heavy-duty vehicle lifts, Stertil-Koni is dedicated to continually improving our products to deliver the very best and safest lifting systems. The next generation of ECOLIFT is a perfect example of how Stertil-Koni continues to take heavy-duty lifting to even greater heights.”

ECOLIFT uniquely combines high pressure, low volume hydraulics, while requiring a mere 3.5 gallons of fluid per scissor. Added Matthias Lennemann, Stertil-Koni sales manager for In-ground Lifts, “ECOLIFT delivers an unparalleled combination of superior lifting matched with an environmentally-friendly design. What makes it particularly appealing to transportation agencies, architectural firms and engineers is its unique ability to deliver sizeable cost savings on construction and installation coupled with an engineering approach that enables it to be utilized in existing workshop pits and even at locations with high water tables.”

On September 3, 2013, ECOLIFT was awarded United States Patent 8,523,146 B2 for the advanced method by which the Stertil-Koni ECOLIFT utilizes a shallow pit scissor lift to raise vehicles. Further, on June 5, 2012, Stertil-Koni was awarded U.S. Patent 8,191,865, which first covered the ECOLIFT, including the combination of the scissor mechanism, carriage, cover and other parts.
