The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Summer Shareholder Meeting Heats Up Phoenix

Alliance shareholder members from the U.S., Mexico, Latin America, Canada, TEMOT and China Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance will join more than 100 channel partner manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers to further develop their membership programs and discuss industry trends.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance welcomed nearly 500 attendees to its annual Summer Shareholder Meeting that began on Sunday, June 3, at the Arizona Biltmore Waldorf Astoria hotel in Phoenix.

On Sunday, open and closed committee meetings were held for shareholder members, followed by an exclusive reception for all attendees and their guests at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed hotel. Monday’s general session agenda includes product updates and analysis, current information technology efforts, sales and marketing initiatives, as well as an Alliance Parts Warehouse (APW) report out. After, all attendees and their guests are invited to an evening reception.

Alliance shareholder members from the U.S. Mexico, Latin America, Canada, TEMOT and China Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance (CAAPA) will join more than 100 channel partner manufacturers, suppliers and service providers to further develop their membership programs and discuss industry trends.

“Bringing all of our global players into the same room allows for collaboration and discussion that is indispensable as we continue to refine our future direction,” said Scott Bennett, Alliance chairman of the board and president of Bennett Auto Supply. “Our meeting provides multiple opportunities to review our global initiatives. The discussions we have this week will resonate in the aftermarket worldwide.”

During the four-day meeting, attendees will participate in general session meetings, shareholder round table and panel discussions, board and committee meetings and a channel partner mixer. The meeting will continue through Wednesday, June 6.
