Snap-on Increases Optional European Coverage In New Software Upgrade 15.4

Snap-onWith each software upgrade, Snap-on continues to increase its optional European coverage to put automotive repair shops in the perfect position to be highly profitable. The added European coverage available in the new Software Upgrade 15.4 puts even more power in the technician’s hands to increase repair opportunities and keep even the toughest European repair jobs in-house.

New and enhanced coverage is available for 11 European vehicle makes including Audi, BMW, FIAT, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Smart Car, Volkswagen and Volvo, with 2014 model year updates for BMW, Land Rover, MINI, Smart Car and Volvo.

Software Upgrade 15.4 will keep a technician’s diagnostic tool up-to-date out of the box and miles down the road with the most comprehensive software available. The latest upgrade offers over 105,380 new codes, tests, tips and data for model years 2000 to 2015, with the most extensive coverage outside the factory tool. The exclusive Fast-Track Troubleshooter coverage goes all the way back to 1980 with 29,200 new tips and timesavers. Plus, the new software offers 52,830 Guided Component Tests, such as training and tips for diesel emission systems, EVAP systems and body systems sub codes, and Guided Component Tests for hybrid electrical and enhanced body electrical systems in domestic, Asian and European models. For select tools, Software Upgrade 15.4 includes SureTrack, an online expert information tool to help technicians improve diagnostic accuracy and reduce repair time.

The Snap-on Software Subscription program helps technicians get through repairs quickly and accurately by continuously delivering high quality coverage and real-time access to information without having to think about it. Every piece of new coverage added expands the technician’s capabilities for late-model and older vehicles, many back to 1992, and helps them stay at their maximum earning potential.
