Power Service Products Redesigns Website

Power Service Products, a manufacturer of diesel fuel additives, has redesigned its website to match the growing expansion of its products and customers. Users can view the new site at www.powerservice.com.

“Today, diesel means more than just pickups, cars and semi-trucks,” said Ed Kramer, president and owner of Power Service Products. “Every industry – and every consumer – is impacted by diesels. It’s a key part of how we obtain and process raw materials, produce and transport finished goods, and what powers construction and mining equipment and fuels back-up generators at schools and hospitals. Diesel makes it all possible and knowing the benefits of using the right diesel fuel additive for the right purpose is essential.”

To answer that need, the company says its newly redesigned site has expanded to cover a wider range of user categories. To make navigation easy, the site is divided between “Consumers” (with pages for Personal Automotive, Trucking, Agriculture, Boating, Small Motor and Home Heating Oil), and “Industry” (with pages for Agri-Business, Construction, Energy, Mining, Fleet Management, Fuel Marketing, Marine and Standby Generation).

Those browsing the site can also get instant online help finding the right Power Service additive by using a new “Find My Product” tool, which analyzes user needs and other variables and then suggests specific additives based on “Performance” to optimize engine power and fuel economy, “Winterization” to tackle fuel gelling and filter icing, or “Fuel Tank Hygiene” to remove water, microbes and contaminants from fuel.

Individual product pages now include a recommended year-round maintenance schedule detailing how and when to use each additive to ensure peak performance from a diesel engine or its fuel. In addition to updated graphics and photos, the revamped site has a new “Learning Center” with white papers, articles, videos and FAQs about all things diesel, all of which are updated regularly. Another feature allows customers to post product reviews and quality ratings. Visitors can also keep up with Power Service Products’ in-store sales promotions, take a video tour of its manufacturing complex, download MSDS and locate Power Service retailers in the U.S. and Canada.
