The stars of the hit TV show, American Chopper, together with K’NEX Industries, recently donated 1,000 K’NEX OCC motorcycle building sets to the USO. The sets will be distributed to military families through the USO Outreach Centers in New York and Washington D.C., and to injured soldiers at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. The donation was announced recently at FAO Schwarz, and the toys were presented to members of the U.S. armed forces.

Paul Teutul, his sons Paul Jr. and Michael, aka "Mikey," of the Discovery Channel’s American Chopper show and owners of the now-famous Orange Country Choppers motorcycle shop, made the presentation along with Diane Adams, vice president of sales and marketing, and Michael Pisors, brand manager, K’NEX Industries.

Accepting the donation along with the soldiers was Phyllis Criscuoli, vice chairman of the board of directors of USO, New York.

The guys from Orange County Choppers have introduced the world to the behind-the-scenes, metal-bending action found only in their garage, where they create one-of-a-kind bikes.

For OCC aficionados, KNEX offers a line of officially licensed K’NEX Orange County Choppers building sets. Each design has been personally approved by the guys.
