New Walker Exhaust Catalog Demonstrates Brand’s Investment in Coverage

Tenneco Inc. has issued its 2006 Walker Exhaust Master Catalog, which includes more than 600 new part numbers covering millions of late-model domestic and import nameplate vehicles.

Tenneco Inc. has issued its 2006 Walker Exhaust Master Catalog, which includes more than 600 new part numbers covering millions of late-model domestic and import nameplate vehicles.

Among the key coverage additions featured in the catalog (No. W-06NCT) are more than 220 direct-fit Walker catalytic converters, 102 Quiet-Flow3 direct-fit mufflers and assemblies, 75 SoundFX mufflers and 35 resonator assemblies.

The new master catalog also includes 14 new DynoMax ultra-high-flow cat-back exhaust systems, five premium DynoMax Ultra Flo mufflers, 14 sets of performance headers and dozens of new performance pipe and hardware part numbers. Tenneco also has added several new glasspack mufflers to its classic Thrush product offering.

“It’s our goal to earn the service provider’s business for every exhaust repair, regardless of vehicle make or model,” said Frank Murkowski, emission control marketing manager of Tenneco’s North American aftermarket. “Walker, DynoMax and Thrush represent a single-source solution for premium quality replacement and performance exhaust technologies. We’re continuing to invest in the products and coverage to maximize the exclusive value we provide to aftermarket businesses.”

The Walker product team has continued to aggressively expand the brand’s coverage of premium direct-fit welded exhaust assemblies and OBD I and OBD II catalytic converters for import nameplate applications. A key strategy in achieving coverage leadership in this segment has been to leverage Tenneco’s global original equipment manufacturing portfolio and the company’s overseas exhaust brands, Starla and Gillet.

“As the North American vehicle population becomes more diverse, we’re committed to having precisely the right parts to deliver OE-style fit, sound and performance for every application,” Murkowski said.

The new master catalog also features Tenneco’s limited lifetime consumer warranty and 90-day risk-free Safe & Sound Guarantee offer. The Safe & Sound Guarantee allows consumers to try premium Walker and DynoMax products on a risk-free basis for 90 days. If the customer is not satisfied, he or she can receive a refund for the purchase price plus labor of up to $50 per exhaust system. (Restrictions apply. Visit www.walkerexhaust.com for details).
