New 3-Year/80,000-Mile Reman Powertrain Warranty Declares Mopar Quality and Durability

Mopar has announced a new era of confidence in its remanufactured powertrain parts: A new 3-Year/80,000 Mile Limited Warranty on remanufactured powertrain products for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. The new coverage is a significant extension from the 3-year/36,000 mile warranty that previously covered reman powertrain components.

The new 3-year/80,000 mile warranty sets Mopar apart from most of its aftermarket competitors by emphasizing a new level of confidence in the quality and durability of Mopar’s products. It also speaks to Mopar’s remanufacturing process, which offers a cost-efficient, original equipment replacement for Chrysler group vehicles.

“By extending the warranty coverage, we’re telling owners of Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles, along with independent installers, that we’re very confident about the quality of Mopar remanufactured powertrain products,” said Chris Cortez, senior vice president of Global Parts and Service for the Chrysler Group.

Mopar’s new 3-year/80,000 mile warranty covers the following Mopar remanufactured powertrain components: Gasoline long- and short-block engine assemblies, gasoline engine cylinder heads, front-wheel-drive transaxles, rear-wheel-drive transmissions, and manual transaxles and transmissions. Parts and labor are covered when original installations and warranty repairs are performed by an authorized Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep dealer. Additionally, a flat labor allowance is available to the original installing independent repair facilities.

Mopar is the official parts, service and accessories division of the Chrysler Group, providing factory service parts and accessories for all Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles. For more information on Mopar remanufactured products, contact your local Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep dealer, or visit www.mopareman.com.
