MOOG, a leading steering and suspension brand from Federal-Mogul Motorparts, continued to expand its coverage in the month of March by introducing 41 new parts. In total, MOOG has brought 205 new parts to market in 2017.

In the month of March, MOOG product engineers introduced 17 new chassis products, including steering tie rod ends (ES801126, left outer; and ES801127, right outer) for nearly 650,000 Chevrolet Malibus (2013-‘15) and Malibu Limiteds (2016); and suspension ball joints (K500141, front lower) for a variety of truck applications, including the Chevrolet Kodiak C4500 and C5500 (2005-‘09); GMC Topkick C4500 and C5500 (2005-‘09); and Ford F450 Super Duty (2005-‘14) and F550 Super Duty (2005-‘16).

In addition, MOOG has expanded its control arm offerings with 22 new products, including suspension arm and ball joint assemblies (RK622834, front right lower; and RK622835, front left lower) for more than 450,000 Lexus GX460s (2010-‘17) and Toyota 4 Runners (2011-‘16). Other applications include suspension control arms (RK642747, rear left lower) for more than 1.4 million Ford Tauruses and Mercury Sables (2000-‘05); suspension arm and ball joint assemblies (RK622854, front left lower; and RK622855, front right lower) for more than 300,000 Volkswagen models, including the CC (2011-‘17), Passat CC (2011-‘13) and Tiguan (2010-‘17); and suspension control arms (RK642744, rear upper) for more than 580,000 Ford Mustangs (2000-‘04).

“MOOG has once again continued to increase its VIO coverage for 2017, building upon the strong year we had in 2016,” said Kevin Kolath, director, product and business development, steering and suspension, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. “We plan to continue to expand our product offerings so that technicians are able to have premium MOOG parts for potential repair opportunities across many different vehicle applications.”
