mitch125-mitchell-1-25Mitchell 1 announces enhancements in the latest release of the Manager SE shop management system to streamline auto repair shop accounting and credit card payment tasks. Two applications, Accounting Link from The Back Office and 1st Mile powered by Merchant Partners, have been integrated with Manager SE as optional tools to give auto repair shop owners additional ways to streamline their business operations.

Accounting Link is an auditing tool that integrates computer-based accounting programs to the Manager SE shop management software for quick, easy transfer of accounting data. Benefits include freedom of choice to use a wide variety of the leading accounting packages, no need to create a new company file, capability to set up and perform accounting tasks from office or home, and an option to process accounting data from multiple locations.

“We are very pleased to offer Accounting Link to our customers. This interface connects Manager SE to virtually any accounting package and brings a new level of efficiency to the accounting tasks that auto repair shops have to manage,” said Tim McDonnell, senior product market manager for Mitchell 1 Manager SE. “Just as Mitchell 1 is an industry standard for shop management, The Back Office is the leader in the repair shop accounting market segment. We are proud to be partnering with them to provide this best-in-class accounting interface to our customers.”

1st Mile provides credit and debit card processing technology that automates the shop’s payment process and helps increase security, reliability and efficiency at the point of sale. The service gives shops access to 10 million fleet card users, and the ability to use retail finance cards as well as traditional credit and debit cards. Additional benefits include next day funding, mobile wallet capability and an automated credit application process to help consumers receive instant financing when needed.

“Our shop management customers have asked for more flexibility in the way they use their systems to run their businesses,” added McDonnell. “With both Accounting link and 1st Mile integrated with Manager SE, we have provided them with best-in-class options that add to the overall power of their shop management software to help them increase efficiency and profits at every stage of the repair.”

Manager SE helps mechanical auto repair shops streamline workflow and track activity from estimate to invoice. The tools and reports in Manager SE give shops a 360-degree view of the entire operation, helping them manage repairs, customer service and the overall business more efficiently and profitably. Manager SE is integrated with ProDemand, Mitchell 1’s comprehensive repair information system, to further increase shop productivity.
