MACS Offers Section 609 Test Prep Webinar

Since 1991, MACS has assisted more than 600,000 technicians to comply with 1990 Clean Air Act requirements for certification in refrigerant recovery and recycling to protect the environment.

Technicians who need to take the Section 609 certification test to be in compliance with the U.S. Clean Air Act requirements for mobile air conditioning refrigerant recovery and recycling can participate in a Section 609 test prep class via the internet. The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide has scheduled a Section 609 test prep webinar for Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 1:30pm EST.

Technicians who wish to participate can register on the MACS website at www.macsw.org and log in to the My Profile page. Register by phone by calling the MACS office at (215) 631-7020 x 306, or e-mail Pam Smith, MACS events manager at [email protected]. Cost is $40 for the class, Section 609 test and credentials, cost for the class only is $25.
