Vehicle service professionals will have the opportunity to win an Extreme Toolbox Overhaul from Ingersoll Rand, a global leader in professional tools and equipment, during SEMA 2012. One grand prize winner will upgrade their current equipment with the new IQV20TM Series cordless and MAX Series pneumatic tools from Ingersoll Rand. One runner-up will receive an IQV20 Series W5130 3/8" cordless impact wrench.

Ingersoll Rand debuted the first tool in the IQV20 Series — the W7150 1/2" cordless impact wrench — during SEMA 2011. They will introduce the latest additions to the cordless line, including a 3/8" cordless impact wrench, task light and drill driver, at this year’s show.

“Ingersoll Rand is excited to roll out the W5130 3/8" cordless impact wrench to complement the powerful W7150 1/2" model,” said Nathan Schmid, marketing manager, vehicle services, Ingersoll Rand. “The W5130 is the little brother to the W7150, offering exceptional power in a compact, lightweight design thats great for working in tight spaces.”

All the tools in the IQV20 Series are powered by advanced lithium-ion technology. This new battery platform features a high-powered lithium-ion battery “power plant” that delivers high-charge capacity and low internal impedance for maximum power delivery. The platform also features an intelligent battery management system (BMS) that provides power-level and flow- rate control from the battery to the switch to the motor, and a mountable, smart charging station with auxiliary USB port, said the company.

The grand prize winner of the Extreme Toolbox Overhaul will also receive select MAX Series tools, including the 122MAXK air hammer kit, 2015MAX 3/8" Hammerhead low profile ImpactoolTM, 2135TiMAX 1/2" impact wrench, 1105MAX-D2 1/4” ratchet, 1207MAX-D3 3/8” ratchet, 3445MAX air angle grinder and, the recently introduced, 5102MAX and 5108MAX air die grinders. Ingersoll Rand MAX family air tools are best-in-class products offering MAX Power, MAX Control, MAX Reliability, and MAX Comfort to help technicians complete service and repair jobs more efficiently.

To be eligible to win the Extreme Toolbox Overhaul, attendees must register for the contest at the Ingersoll Rand booth (No. 10149) in the Las Vegas Convention Center during SEMA 2012. Entries will be accepted during trade show hours from Tuesday, October 30, to Friday, November 2. Ingersoll Rand will randomly draw one grand prize winner and one runner-up at 4 p.m./PDT on November 2. Individuals do not have to be present to win. Official contest rules are available upon request.
