Hytec Automotive to be Sole Supplier of Water Pumps to Parts Plus and IAPA Auto Parts Stores

Hytec Automotive (Hytec), a DeBartolo company, announced recently that it has achieved "preferred vendor" status with the Automotive Distribution Network (ADN), the marketing group comprised of Parts Plus and Independent Auto Parts of America (IAPA) auto parts stores.

Hytec Automotive (Hytec), a DeBartolo company, announced recently that it has achieved “preferred vendor” status with the Automotive Distribution Network (ADN), the marketing group comprised of Parts Plus and Independent Auto Parts of America (IAPA) auto parts stores.

As a preferred vendor for ADN, Hytec will be the only supplier of new water pumps for the hundreds of member stores and thousands of jobbers in the ADN network making Hytec water pumps available to consumers nationwide and in Canada and Mexico.

“This is a major accomplishment for Hytec. The preferred vendor status with a premier distributor like Automotive Distribution Network represents our goal of drastically increasing U.S. distribution and allows us to further penetrate foreign markets,” said Tim Zahler, president of Hytec.

Through the ADN network, which includes the Parts Plus IAPA systems, Hytec water pumps will be distributed to more than 52 independently-owned distribution companies, which operate approximately 242 warehouse outlets serving 2,099 affiliated jobbers, 512 ASP tech centers and 708 Car Care Centers in North America.

“ADN is a trusted name in our industry and we are proud to be a part of it,” said Zahler.
