Attention all vo-tech instructors and students! Want to attend a FREE trade show showcasing the latest tools, equipment and refinish products in the collision repair marketplace? Then you need to attend the 2011 BodyShop Business Conference & Trade Show May 5 at the Pheasant Run Resort in Chicago.

As part of the festivities, we’re going to allow five participating schools to display a vehicle at the show. This can be one that students have worked on as a class or one that a particular student has completed. We’ll have judging at the close of the show, and a prize will be awarded to the winning student. It should be a great way for students to gain recognition and showcase their work.

Also, students will love the high-tech Iowa Waste Reduction Center VirtualPaint training system that will allow them to practice painting without any of the cost or environmental issues to worry about!

There will also be educational sessions throughout the day available for the registration fee of $129. Topics will include lean concepts, environmental compliance, sales/marketing, legal rights, low-VOC/waterborne paint, social media and website optimization. An I-CAR class, QUA01 Inspecting Repairs for Quality Control, will also be available for an additional price.

Training technicians for the collision repair business is a vital component for the success and well-being of our industry. We hope that you’ll take advantage of this opportunity and bring your students to the event. It’s FREE OF CHARGE and should prove to be beneficial to both you and your students.

To sign up, call (330) 670-1234 ext. 227 or visit www.bodyshopbusiness.com/conference.
