As Fall Car Care Month rapidly approaches, the Car Care Council’s Car Care Month Tool Kit is available free of charge to aftermarket companies and organizations. The online kit can be found at www.carcareindustry.com and is designed to help drive business by providing tools to help promote and participate in Fall Car Care Month.

“Whether it’s something as simple as changing your on-hold message or more elaborate like conducting a community car care event, the free Car Care Month Tool Kit is a one-stop site designed to help you reach out to customers in your community,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “With so many different ways to celebrate Fall Car Care Month, it doesn’t need to take more than a few minutes to get involved.”

There are a variety of helpful features of the Car Care Month Tool Kit, including the council’s video entitled, “Drive Customers to Your Shop.” In addition, organizations can choose their desired level of involvement and will find downloadable and printable materials and ordering information for “Be Car Care Aware” point-of-sale kits, brochures, merchandise and the popular Car Care Guides, available in English, Spanish and French.

“Consumers are searching for ways to save money and Fall Car Care Month is the perfect time to show them the financial benefits of proper vehicle maintenance. A community car care event, clinic or special celebration is a great way to thank your current customers and reach out to new ones,” concluded White.

The Car Care Council is the source of information for the “Be Car Care Aware” consumer education campaign promoting the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance and repair to consumers. For a copy of the council’s Car Care Guide or for more information, visit www.carcare.org.
