Five Idaho Students Receive Albano Scholarships Through The GAAS Scholarship Program

Five students from Idaho planning careers in automotive and the heavy-duty aftermarket industries received scholarships through the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) Scholarship Committee, thanks to the generous support of John and Kathy Albano, former owners of Muffler Warehouse, a CARQUEST member company in Idaho.

The award winners, listed below, each will receive a $1,000 scholarship award:

• Harmon Newhouse of Bonners Ferry, Idaho
• Leonard Howe of Rexburg, Idaho
• Mohammad Samim Mohammad Aziz of Boise, Idaho
• Skyler Badertscher of Athol, Idaho

“We are pleased to give back to the automotive aftermarket, which has given so much to our family through the years,” said John Albano. “Helping future generations start their careers in this industry is very meaningful to us.”
