As part of its increased presence in ARCA racing in 2011, Federated Car Care will be the presenting sponsor of five ARCA races this season.

“The ARCA series has proved to be very popular with our members and their customers so we are very excited to increase the number of ARCA races we will be sponsoring this season,” said J.R. Bishop, director of racing and event marketing for Federated Auto Parts.  “We have chosen to sponsor events in areas of the country where we have great Federated Car Care participation.  Our members can use these races as a way to entertain and say thank you to their customers.”

In addition to its sponsorship of the five ARCA races, Federated is also sponsoring the Ken Schrader Racing ARCA team in 2011. The Federated Auto Parts ARCA car is being driven by Tom Hessert.

“We have some terrific hospitality activities planned around these five races,” continued Bishop.  “Our members and their customers will have a great time interacting with one of the true legends in racing in Kenny Schrader and they will also get the opportunity to meet one of the rising stars in racing in Tom Hessert.  We are hoping Tom can win a couple of these Federated ARCA races to make the race weekends more memorable for our customers.”
