Equipment and Tool Institute’s SAE J2534 Market Research Study Now Available

Find out what end-users said about their experiences with specific OEM and aftermarket-branded reprogramming tools.

ETI’s first marketing research project, which covers Flash Reprogramming, or SAE J2534 as it is also known, is now available for purchase on the association’s website.

The Marketing Research Study covers a survey of approximately 450 automotive repair facilities and ETI’s findings regarding their familiarity and use of flash reprogramming tools. The results are informative and demonstrate the strengths and weakness of tools in a variety of categories. ETI believes this research will help all segments of the automotive industry provide aftermarket shops with better flash reprogramming solutions. This is an opportunity to begin using this research to develop better tools and equipment and stay ahead of the competition.

The next ETI Marketing Research Study will cover TPMS and also limited Telematics topics. This research project is slated to be completed and available for purchase by the end of the year.
