Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. announced it is sponsoring nine baseball teams this summer: the New York Yankees, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago White Sox, Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, San Diego Padres, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Royals.

Cooper said it will be prominently featured in a mix of promotional efforts surrounding each team, including exposure in stadium and fan areas, in-stadium video screens, and local market radio programs. Additionally, the tiremaker will sponsor fireworks displays for several teams.

Tied in with the national partnership is Cooper’s “Buy Four and Score!” promotion, in which fans can score a voucher valid for four tickets to a select local game with the purchase of four qualifying Cooper tires from a participating dealer. The promotion, which runs from July 1-31, is available with seven participating teams: the Dodgers, White Sox, Braves, Phillies, Padres, Cardinals and Royals. “These sponsorships are an enjoyable way for fans to connect with the Cooper brand while enjoying their favorite baseball team,” said Hal Gardner, Cooper vice president of marketing communications and market intelligence. “By creating an engaging experience for baseball fans, Cooper Tire is driving excitement for America’s favorite pastime and encouraging consumers to enjoy summer while spending quality time with friends and family.”
