Chicago Pneumatic Supports Breast Cancer Cause With Limited-Edition Impact Wrench

Based on the popular CP7732C half-inch stubby impact wrench, it has been specially designed in pink and black rather than the usual red and black colors. The new model is named CP7732CBC – with the 'BC' standing for Breast Cancer.

Chicago Pneumatic is supporting breast cancer research and local communities with the launch of a special limited-edition impact wrench dedicated to raising vital funds. Profits from sales of this pneumatic tool will be given out to local breast cancer research associations. It will be available in several countries, across the world, from the start of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Based on the popular CP7732C half-inch stubby impact wrench, it has been specially designed in pink and black rather than the usual red and black colors. The new model is named CP7732CBC – with the ‘BC’ standing for Breast Cancer.

“Supporting our local communities and directing our energy especially toward the individuals and families in most need, makes perfect sense to us,” said Eva Marie, Chicago Pneumatic’s global communication and brands manager. “People, passion and performance are part of our company’s DNA and brand promise. At work, it means we value relationships, encourage team-building, support each customer and member of staff, and focus on achieving the best products and results for all. Going beyond those daily activities, we are there to help people in difficult times and to strengthen those going through the physical and mental fight against illness.”

Described as Chicago Pneumatic’s most compact tool, the CP7732CBC is 4.25 inches long (108 mm) and weighs just 2.2 pounds (1.0 kg). It has been selected for the breast cancer campaign because of its lightweight, easy-to-handle design. This should appeal to a wide audience, including many buyers who are not used to working with professional pneumatic tools. Despite its small size and weight, the CP7732CBC delivers a powerful 460 ft.lbs (625 Nm) of maximum torque in reverse and has a highly durable and robust construction. Its power can be applied easily, controllably and comfortably thanks to innovative, one-handed forward/reverse and power setting selection systems, a full teasing trigger and a curved handle with a thermoplastic-rubber-injected housing.

Further motivation for Chicago Pneumatic’s involvement in the Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign lies in the fact that some of its own employees are breast cancer survivors. Many staff will be taking part in local races and other fundraising initiatives. In the Nordic region, for example, profits from CP7732CBC tool sales and related activities will go to the organization Bröstcancerfonden (Breast Cancer Foundation) for use in medical research, influencing power holders and improving the lives of affected patients and relatives. Chicago Pneumatic’s U.S. team will be entering the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure on Oct. 5 in Charlotte, North Carolina. This generates funding for breast cancer detection, support and educational awareness in Charlotte and its surrounding areas. Additionally, for those visiting 2019 SEMA Show, the “pink tool” will be on display and Chicago Pneumatic will offer an interactive activity at its booth (No. 10104), where people will be able to sign up for the breast cancer initiative. For each signature, Chicago Pneumatic will be donating $1 to breast cancer research.
