European Car Repair Shop Hit By Thieves

It didn’t take long for thieves to do a lot of damage at an auto repair shop in East Memphis.

The crooks who were after catalytic converters damaged nearly a dozen vehicles parked outside Classic European Motors on Thomas Road.

Thomas Davis, co-owner of Classic European Motors, says they were already behind in their work and now things just a got a whole lot busier.

"They took the saw and took the cats and stole a stereo, took a couple of TV’s," said Davis.

During the night thieves cut a whole through their fence and stole catalytic converters off of at least nine cars parked behind this repair and service shop.

They also stole TV’s and stereo systems out of some of the vehicles and even the tires and wheels off one car.
