Bartec USA Releases Their Latest Tool Update R65.2/R5.2!

This release will enable Bartec Next-Gen Pro Series TPMS Tools to detect the vehicles battery level through the OBD connection.

Bartec USA announces the release of their latest TPMS tool software update. R65.2/R5.2 adds significant coverage for the Rite-Sensor, adds new model year tool coverage and increases already industry leading OBDII capabilities.

Release 65.2 is for older TPMS Tools Tech400Pro, Tech300Pro and Tech500. Release 5.2 covers the Next Generation of Pro Series TPMS Tools – TechRITEPro, Tech450Pro, Tech550Pro and Tech600Pro.

Bartec is proud to continuously develop aftermarket OBD and sensor coverage, while improving tool features and functions, the company states. This release will enable Bartec Next-Gen Pro Series TPMS Tools to detect the vehicles battery level through the OBD connection. Also, with the market first addition of Lexus SC430 (2002-2006) OBD relearns and four BMW models to the TPMS sensor coverage Bartec continues to prove that they put the customer first!

Tool software development is key to Bartec, which requires collating huge amounts of data from industry partners, developing the necessary code based on that data, and then thoroughly testing, and vetting the solution before releasing it to customers. Bartec is an OE based provider and understands the critical part that testing plays in developing and releasing software.  “Be leary of the free software for life offers,” advises Bartec USA CEO Scot Holloway. He continues, “If software is ‘free for life’, does the tool manufacturer really owe you an update?” Bartec produces four to six tool updates annually, while continually adding value to your TPMS Tool investment.

Make sure your tool software is up to date to access the latest coverage. The easiest way to do that is download Bartec’s free application, TPMS Desktop, the company notes. The TPMS Desktop is a tool management utility that helps with tool updating, vehicle look up and coverage as well as inspection report retrieval and printing. If you are an existing TPMS Desktop user, it will update automatically. If you don’t yet have TPMS Desktop, visit Bartec USA’s website at https://www.bartecusa.com/tpms-desktop and click on the link to download.

A complete Technical Service Bulletin describing all the contents of software update 65.2/5.2 is now available for download at https://www.bartecusa.com/ or from the TPMS Desktop. To download and install this update, you must have a current software subscription. Check your account at https://tools.bartecusa.com/ and call your Bartec distributor to purchase an update certificate. For more information, visit www.bartecusa.com.
