Bar's Leaks has updated the packaging of its Repair product line (formerly known as Repair-It) to make it even more user-friendly. The product line includes Bar's Leaks Automatic Transmission Repair, Bar's Leaks Engine Repair, Bar's Leaks Head Gasket Repair and Bar's Leaks Power Steering Repair.

Bar’s Leaks has updated the packaging of its Repair product line (formerly known as Repair-It) to make it even more user-friendly. The product line includes Bar’s Leaks Automatic Transmission Repair, Bar’s Leaks Engine Repair, Bar’s Leaks Head Gasket Repair and Bar’s Leaks Power Steering Repair. The products go beyond simply stopping leaks to actually improving system performance and adding protection for longer vehicle life.

All of the products are now sold in bottles with child-resistant caps for improved consumer safety. They feature booklet labels on the back, with easier-to-read instructions in both English and Spanish, and simplified front labels. Except for Head Gasket Repair, each product uses a two-part formula that is packaged in a unique, dual-cavity, single-use bottle. The two parts mix together when added to the vehicle.

“The Bar’s Leaks Repair products have been extremely popular since their introduction in 2004,” said Clay Parks, vice president of marketing and development for Bar’s Leaks. “Both professional technicians and do-it-yourselfers have been using the products to safely keep high-mileage vehicles on the road longer. These new packaging changes are designed to make the products even easier for customers to identify, select and use properly.”

Most late-model vehicles with leaks in the engine, steering system or transmission usually have other problems associated with high usage and/or lack of proper maintenance. Like blown head gaskets, severe coolant leaks and engine block leaks, the cost to mechanically repair these problems is often more than the owners want or can afford to pay. This often leaves them little choice other than to scrap the vehicle. Bar’s Leaks Repair products give owners of high-mileage vehicles an affordable chemical repair option.

Automatic Transmission Repair (part #1400) reduces rough shifting and friction while eliminating slip, controlling temperature, and repairing shudder, chatter and whining. Engine Repair (part #1000) restores lost compression and horsepower, reduces noise and smoking, and improves the performance of worn cylinders, rings, bearings and seals. Head Gasket Repair (part #1100) uses a patent-pending formula to form a hard, ceramic-like permanent seal in cracks or separations in the head gasket area. Power Steering Repair (part #1600) quiets whining, reduces stiff and sluggish steering, and restores worn rack and pinions, gear boxes and pumps.
