ASA Launches Expanded Ultimate Buyers Guide for Service Professionals

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced the expanded version of ASA's Ultimate Buyers Guide for Service Professionals, a web-based buyers guide providing shop owners and industry professionals worldwide immediate access to products and services catered specifically to their needs.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) has announced the expanded version of ASA’s Ultimate Buyers Guide for Service Professionals, a web-based buyers guide providing shop owners and industry professionals worldwide immediate access to products and services catered specifically to their needs. The new version of the electronic publication includes enhanced searching capabilities. The guide can be accessed through the association’s home page (www.ASAshop.org), or through a direct link at www.ASAUltimateBuyersGuide.com.

Within the expanded Ultimate Buyers Guide, two different methods of searching for products and services are available. Visitors may choose either a keyword-driven search or a category search by type of business.

ASA’s Ultimate Buyers Guide is now equipped with a powerful search engine that continually indexes the websites of the companies represented in the directory. To that end, visitors to the electronic publication can easily find products and services unique to the automotive repair industry without encountering the clutter of a general Internet search.

Users preferring the more traditional way of searching through a buyers guide can search by category, product or brand name. Supplier listings include address and phone number information, with many company listings including Web links, e-mail addresses and detailed product descriptions.

“The introduction of advanced search capabilities within ASA’s Ultimate Buyers Guide provides the automotive repair industry with one-stop shopping for everything involved in running a successful repair facility. The technology used in creating this new version makes searching for products and services easy, saving shop owners and industry professionals valuable time,” said Ron Pyle, ASA’s president and chief staff executive. “We are extremely excited about the enhancement to an already invaluable electronic publication.”

The Automotive Service Association is the largest not-for-profit trade association of its kind dedicated to and governed by independent automotive service and repair professionals. ASA serves an international membership base that includes numerous affiliate, state and chapter groups from both the mechanical and collision repair segments of the automotive service industry. ASA’s headquarters is in Bedford, TX.

ASA advances professionalism and excellence in the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services. For additional information about ASA, go to www.ASAshop.org, or visit ASA’s legislative website at www.TakingTheHill.com.
