AP Auto Markets New StormShield Premium Wiper Blade Program

Atlantic Pacific Automotive, LLC (AP Auto) has introduced its new StormShield premium wiper blade program. StormShield is the latest addition to AP Auto's family of private label brands, that include Master oil, lubricants and chemicals, Pro Gauge filters, Armor paint, Fade Free friction, E-Tron ignition, and AmGauge bearings, seals, chassis and suspension parts.

Atlantic Pacific Automotive, LLC (AP Auto), America’s largest independent parts supplier, has introduced its new StormShield premium wiper blade program.

“Wiper blades are an important product line for our traditional jobber customers," said Don Youngblood, president, AP Auto, a subsidiary of DYK Automotive, Inc. "StormShield is designed and manufactured so jobbers can offer their customers a high-quality product at a very affordable price point. This new program continues our efforts to help customers grow their business in this challenging market and to stay competitive with auto parts retailers.”

Youngblood says StormShield is truly a premium quality program in design, components used and manufacturing process.  StormShield blades are comprised of all metal frames with a sturdy vented bridge and riveted joints. A streak free quiet wipe from compression molded premium rubber with PTFE coating to resist cracking, tearing and squeaking. To assure long term performance, StormShield also uses powder coated frames and stainless steel splines. The patented 4×1 adaptor system allows for easy installation in most traditional wiper arms.

“Our high impact graphics package design and merchandising displays are both dynamic and informative, helping our customer sell these wiper blades," explained Youngblood. AP Auto offers a free-standing display program to help jobbers merchandise the StormShield blade program.

StormShield is the latest addition to AP Auto’s family of private label brands, that include Master oil, lubricants and chemicals, Pro Gauge filters, Armor paint, Fade Free friction, E-Tron ignition, and AmGauge bearings, seals, chassis and suspension parts.

DYK Automotive, Inc. is the holding company for three automotive aftermarket companies, each operating independently as wholly owned subsidiaries including: Atlantic Pacific Automotive, LLC (AP Auto), Superior Automotive, LLC and Keltner Distribution.

StormShield windshield wiper blades are available exclusively through AP Auto and Keltner Distribution. For more information contact AP Auto at (800) 238-5153, visit www.apauto.com, or contact Keltner Distribution at (888) 666-3311, or visit www.keltnerdistribution.com.
