Agenda Announced For Automotive Communication Council (ACC) 2015 Annual Conference

The Automotive Communication Council (ACC) has announced the agenda for its 2015 annual conference. This year’s event will be held April 14-16 in downtown Austin, Texas, at the Sheraton at the Capitol.

The agenda is designed to inspire new ideas and thought-provoking marketing, and will include the following educational sessions:

• “How Aftermarket-Specific Training Benefits You And Your Company”
presented by Donna Wagner, Northwood University
• “Real-World Strategies for Today’s Promotional Marketplace” presented by John Portelli and Charlie Farah, Advertising Checking Bureau
• “Event Marketing – Making the Most of your Face-to-Face Activations” presented by Matt Tumulty, FreemanXP
• “Listen to your Customers – Lessons from iATN, the World’s Biggest Technician Forum” presented by Scott Brown, iATN
• “Technician Owner Panel” moderated by Tom Marx
• “The Undeniable ROI of Knowledge – How to Use E-Learning to Market, Engage and Increase Revenue in the Automotive Aftermarket” presented by Paul Louwers and Mike Hobbs
• “Music & Marketing – Amazing Success of Austin City Limits” presented by Tom Gimbel, Austin City Limits.
• “New Ways to Use Data to Target Repair Professionals and Consumers” presented by Al Haberstroh and Brian Wheeler
• “The Auto Care Association – 2015 Update” presented by Jennifer Ortiz, Auto Care Association
• Numerous group discussions designed to stimulate enlightenment and problem-solving

In addition, networking opportunities will encourage interaction with marketing peers, and all planned events are inspired by Austin’s local culture. A rooftop networking experience at Maggie Mae’s offers a panoramic view of the Austin skyline, while a sunset “bat cruise” will provide the unique experience to observe flight of the largest urban bat colony in the world.

The ACC annual conference will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14 and conclude at 12 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.  All ACC members and non-members are welcome. Early-bird registration is available through Monday, March 13, and is $450 for ACC members, and $550 for non-members.  Registration is still available after March 13, but registration fees will increase to $550 for ACC members, and $650 for non-members.

For more information or to register, visit http://accmeeting.org/ or contact Nancie Boland at 573-723-1868. Information is also available on Facebook and LinkedIn, under the Automotive Communication Council group page.
