Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Announces Two New Members

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance (The Alliance) announces the addition of National Auto Parts Warehouse and Autopartes El Progreso as new members of their group, effective Decemeber 1, 2011.

The Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance (The Alliance) announces the addition of National Auto Parts Warehouse and Autopartes El Progreso as new members of their group, effective Decemeber 1, 2011.  National Auto Parts Warehouse (NPW) of Miami, FL, joins as the newest Bumper to Bumper shareholder member and Autopartes El Progreso (El Progreso) of La Paz, BCS, Mexico joins as the newest Auto Value shareholder member.

NPW currently operates five (5) warehouse facilities across the United States in Florida and California, and El Progreso operates one warehouse facility in La Paz, and four (4) company-owned parts stores in the extreme Southern region of Baja California Sur, with a fifth scheduled to open in 2012.

“We are honored and delighted to announce the addition of National Auto Parts Warehouse and Autopartes El Progreso as new shareholder members of Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance,” stated John R. Washbish, president and CEO of The Alliance.  “Their membership reinforces our group’s commitment to independent warehouse distribution, and their profiles perfectly match the high standards we have for acceptance into our group.  Larry Pacey and his team at NPW have a well-established record of successful growth as an independent warehouse in our market, while Humberto Osuna represents the third generation of family ownership at El Progreso.  El Progreso’s recent growth can be directly attributed to the team Humberto has built and the leadership he provides.”

“Joining The Alliance as a Bumper to Bumper WD represents a tremendous opportunity for us at NPW,” said NPW’s President and CEO, Larry Pacey.  “We are looking to continue to grow and expand our business, and affiliation with The Alliance group and their superior technology suite, private label product development and overall buying and marketing strength made the most practical sense for us.  They can, and already have supported us in ways other groups simply cannot,” Pacey continued.

“It is quite an honor to become an Auto Value member,” stated El Progreso’s President, Humberto Osuna.  “Their program is well known throughout Mexico, and their Mexico shareholder members are the best operators in our Country.  Our company and our family are very proud to be associated with The Alliance.”
