On the road with an iPhone or Android smartphone, and looking for the nearest Bosch Service Center for your car or truck? By using any iPhone or Android smartphone and visiting the new Bosch Service mobile website, it is now easier than ever to enjoy the security provided by the Bosch Service network throughout the United States and Canada. The smartphone user simply goes to www.boschservice.com, is redirected to the new Bosch Service mobile website, and then finds local Bosch Service Centers that service their vehicle.

Utilizing the smartphone’s GPS to identify its current location, the Bosch mobile site allows the phone user, with the touch of a button, to locate nearby Bosch Service Center shops and get turn-by-turn driving directions to any shop chosen.

Blackberry phone access will be available soon.

“Our new mobile website gives travelers quick and easy access to our nationwide Bosch Car Service network, in both the U.S. and Canada,” said Michael Lippman, concept manager for the Bosch Car Service network at Robert Bosch, LLC. “Visitors to the site can find local service centers that specialize in their vehicle.  This will make the family road trip, and all car travel, more enjoyable and less stressful.”

“From our new mobile website, users can select a local service center, map the center’s location and get detailed driving directions, all from their smartphone.  They can even call the service center with a touch of the screen.  Now that’s service,” Lippman said.

The Bosch Service network is a collection of the top independent repair centers, servicing gasoline, diesel and hybrid-driven vehicles.  Bosch Service centers receive quality parts, diagnostic and wheel service equipment and training from Bosch, the largest automotive original equipment and aftermarket parts manufacturer in the world
