Gabriel (Ride Control, LLC), the originator of the world’s first automotive shock absorber in 1907, announces the launch of its all-new website at www.gabriel.com.

"Our goal is to be that same independent, entrepreneurial American company that founded the automotive shock absorber industry in 1907, interacting with customers and providing content and information in ways that only a leader in the marketplace has the knowledge, experience and resources to supply," said Lisa Bahash, president and CEO Gabriel (Ride Control, LLC).

The easy-to-navigate, content-rich site now includes videos, Q and A’s, downloads and two product searches: one for light vehicles and one for heavy-duty trucks, buses and other industrial uses. Each is enhanced with specifications, information, and printable product details. With a product line that is more than 4,000 SKUs deep covering more than 200 million light, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles in operation on U.S. roads today, this is a valuable customer tool. For customer ease, the searches are available on every page of the website.

The company has also created “The Gabriel Answerman,” a section that draws on the expertise and experience of the company’s technical experts.  Each day, Gabriel Answerman technicians Fit-test new Gabriel designs on the specific vehicle applications for which those designs were engineered to make sure that the finished parts install properly.  Then the Answerman technicians Ride-test the designs on a variety of U.S. road conditions to ensure the ride is tuned to the Original Equipment Manufacturer’s specifications. All this makes the Gabriel Answerman the "go-to" section of the website for answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), valuable information and how-to’s. Customers can call 1-800-999-3903, M-F, 9am-5pm CT, to speak directly with a Gabriel Answerman who will help answer questions over the phone.

In addition, the new site contains a Gabriel Answerman video section for information on which shock or strut is the best choice for your vehicle. More videos are in development.

The new website landing page highlights the unique, differentiating aspects of Gabriel products including Gabriel’s super-finished chromed piston rods, G- Force technology and 100 percent precision-engineered, Fit- and Ride-tested new designs. These features communicate to customers how Gabriel goes the extra mile to bring high quality and long lasting products to its catalog offerings.

"With an ever increasing product line, precision-engineered, feature-filled and well-tested product, and a renewed commitment to our customers and retail partners, the independent spirit upon which the Original Gabriel was founded is alive and well. We are excited to make it available to our customers through this new enhanced Gabriel website," added Bahash.

The site will continue to be updated with additional improvements and new content. Watch for more Answerman videos over the course of the next six months. Customers can also follow the company Facebook.
