Nominees are now being accepted for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) Impact Award: Four for the Future, which annually honors four aftermarket professionals, age 40 or younger, who have made remarkable contributions within the aftermarket industry. The award was created in 2010, and is administered by the AAIA Marketing and Member Relations Committee on behalf of the association.

The 2010 winners of the first-ever Impact Awards were: Corey Bartlett, President, Automotive Parts Headquarters, Inc.; Jim Dykstra, Owner, Dykstra’s Auto Service, Inc.; Kristen Felder, Owner/Founder, Collision Hub; and John Treece, President and CEO, Atlantic Automotive Enterprises, LLC.

“Last year’s inaugural winners exemplify top-notch excellence in the next generation of aftermarket leaders – dynamic young professionals who are already making significant contributions to our industry early in their careers,” said Kathleen Schmatz, AAIA president and CEO. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to applaud and recognize ambitious young professionals with this award again this year.”

The award is open to anyone aged 40 or younger, with relevant professional work experience, of which a minimum of two years must be in the automotive aftermarket. Nominations are due by Wednesday, Aug. 31, and honorees will be notified in October. Winners will be selected by the AAIA Marketing and Member Relations Committee, and recommended to the AAIA Executive Committee for final approval. The four Impact Award winners will be recognized during the AAIA Town Hall Breakfast on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at AAPEX, in Las Vegas, NV.
