TSC Global Sells NTW

TSC Global, LLC, a leading company in the sales, marketing and distribution of consumer brand products to America’s top retailers and travel centers announced July 15 the execution of a definitive agreement to sell its interest in NTW, formerly known as ETW, a national distributor of specialty tools for the automotive aftermarket and heavy-duty truck industries to Nestor Sales, LLC dba Ace Tool.

The sale comes months after the announcement of TSC Group’s plan to rebrand themselves and portfolio company, Barjan, as TSC Global.

“The sale of NTW allows our company to focus on our core business of serving the travel center and convenience industries,” said John Wiesehan, CEO of TSC Global. “This will help us turn our center of attention toward the goal we set when we purchased Barjan in October of being the only full-service distributor in the travel center industry with a nationwide field merchandising organization providing critical in-store merchandising and support. We are confident that Nestor Sales is the perfect fit for the NTW organization.”

On Oct. 19, 2010, TSC Group announced its purchase of Barjan from Monomoy Capital Partners, making them one of the largest distributors in the travel center and convenience industries.
