Innova Electronics Corp., a leading developer of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment, is pleased to announce it is the recipient of the 2010 Matco Tools Supplier of the Year and 2010 Innovative Supplier of the Year awards in appreciation of excellent performance. The awards were presented on February 27 during the Matco Tools Expo 2011 in Orlando, FL.

“These awards are given to those suppliers who have demonstrated operational excellence, innovation and partnership,” said John Green, vice president, marketing and ecommerce for Matco. “Innova has exceeded Matco’s expectations as a partner in driving growth through service, excellence and product exclusivity.”

This past year, Innova Electronics has been able to help contribute to significant growth in Matco’s on-board diagnostic category offering and sales with the introduction of a broad range of entry-level to professional automotive tools. Each tool added to the program was designed to help solve check engine-related problems, as well as troubleshoot anti-lock brake (ABS) and supplemental restraint system (SRS) programs.  The program also features an unprecedented online and technical support program designed especially for Matco. To introduce the program, Innova sent a team of automotive service excellence (ASE) certified technicians, product developers, sales and marketing associates to the 2010 Matco Tools Show.  Innova held eight training sessions, touching on available marketing materials, an overview of available tools, demo videos, and question and answer sessions.

“The team at Innova has always been committed to developing products with the customer’s best interests in mind,” said Rick Miali, sales manager, Innova Electronics, Corp. “It’s exciting to see our efforts pay off in terms of sales growth and recognition.  It is truly an honor to have our efforts recognized by such a reputable industry player as Matco Tools.”
