One example of a repair shop that is quite involved in their community is Sun Devil Auto, a family-owned and operated automotive repair company with 21 locations in Arizona. On Sunday, October 10, they helped sponsor the 18th Annual Phoenix Race for the Cure. The Komen Race for the Cure Series raises significant funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer, celebrates breast cancer survivorship, and honors those who have lost their battle with the disease.

On Saturday, October 23, the Sun Devil Auto location at 915 S. Val Vista in Gilbert, AZ, is celebrating the change in the weather with an outdoor event for its customers. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., patrons will enjoy free hot dogs, soft drinks, prizes for the kids, and glass chip repair. A “kilted” carwash will also be offered by The Arizona Scottish Highland Games team.

There are many different ways that your business can become involved in your community. Take advantage of these opportunities to promote your shop’s services. This is your opportunity to thank current customers for their patronage and to introduce your business to vehicle owners who are not familiar with all the features and benefits that your shop offers.
