Monroe Brings Back ‘Shocktober’ Program for Fall

The Monroe shocks and struts brand of Tenneco Inc. has announced the return of the Monroe Shocktober promotion program, including a valuable installer pre-paid debit card promotion and a corresponding consumer mail-in rebate, during the busy fall selling season.

The Monroe shocks and struts brand of Tenneco Inc. has announced the return of the Monroe Shocktober promotion program, including a valuable installer pre-paid debit card promotion and a corresponding consumer mail-in rebate, during the busy fall selling season.

From September 1 through October 31, 2010, automotive service professionals can earn up to $120 in pre-paid debit cards for qualifying sales of Monroe products through the Shocktober promotion.

“This promotion is ideal: premium products, exciting rewards and a busy fall selling season,” said Sheryl Bomia, North America programs manager, Tenneco.

Participants who sell 40 pairs of qualifying premium ride control products will earn a $120 Monroe pre-paid debit card. Participants who complete 10, 20 or 30 pairs of qualifying sales during the promotional period can earn pre-paid debit cards of $30, $60 or $90, respectively. There are no limits to the rewards a shop owner, service writer or technician can earn through the promotion. Monroe is also offering a consumer promotion called “Shocktober” that rewards motorists who purchase four qualifying ride control products with a mail-in rebate for the lowest cost unit (up to the current Monroe and/or Rancho suggested list price).

Monroe products included in the promotion are Monroe Reflex shocks (911000 and 911500 series); Monroe Reflex struts (931000, 932000 and 941000 series); Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks (5600, 5700, 5900, 37000, 39000 and 58000 series); Monroe Sensa-Trac struts and cartridges (71000, 72000, 73000, 139000, 171000, 172000 and 271000 series); and Monroe Gas-Magnum shocks (34000 series).

All promotional scorecard entries must be postmarked by Dec. 1, 2010.

The trade promotion is only available to members of the Tenneco Expert Plus dealer loyalty program. For more information regarding the Expert Plus program, contact your Tenneco sales representative.
