Champion spark plugs, the “Performance Driven” plugs from Federal-Mogul Corporation, will power one of the premier teams in the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series.

The three-car Kalitta Motorsports team will rely exclusively on Champion plugs as it begins its quest for points titles in the professional Top Fuel and Funny Car categories beginning this weekend at the Kragen O’Reilly NHRA Nationals in Pomona, CA.  Champion spark plugs have won more racing championships, in more types of competition, than all other plug brands combined.

Advanced Champion racing spark plugs will help power the 8,000-horsepower Kalitta Air dragsters driven by Doug Kalitta and Dave Grubnic, and the DHL/Kalitta Funny Car driven by Jeff Arend throughout the 23-race Full Throttle season.
