Makita Launches 'Experience LXT' Promotion

Makita Launches ‘Experience LXT’ Promotion

Initiative focuses on growing 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Series and more.

Makita Industrial Power Tools has launched Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion, a new national promotion offering select free tools with purchase and big value on select items. The new national promotion is part of Makita’s ongoing effort to engage professional tradesmen and serious tool users with innovative products, high-energy sponsorship initiatives and creative marketing programs.

“Makita is all about the pro contractor and the serious tool user so we will continue to offer best-in-class products, including more cordless tools in our growing LXT Series,” said Brent Withey, Makita’s senior brand manager. “We’ll also continue deliver promotions like this one that present big value to serious tool users and make a big impact on the marketplace.”

Makita’s Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Promotion arrives one-month prior to the fourth anniversary of Makita’s breakthrough 18V LXT Lithium Ion Cordless Series. After just four years, the LXT Series now offers 36 cordless tool solutions with more on the way, providing a wide range of cordless solutions for professional tradesmen. All LXT Tools are powered by Makita’s 18V Lithium-Ion battery, delivering more power, less weight, longer run time and a faster, more efficient charging process with its Energy Star-rated Rapid Optimum Charger.

Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Promotion offers a range of value-added offers, including a free 3-Speed Cordless Impact Driver (BTD144Z) via mail-in redemption with purchase of select LXT cordless tools. The BTD144Z is Makita’s new 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 3-Speed Impact Driver with three speed settings for a range of fastening tasks: from cabinet screws to lag bolts. Other value-added incentives in the promotion include a free BMR100W FM/AM Jobsite Radio with purchase of an LS1016L Miter Saw, and more.

The Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Promotion also offers outstanding value on LXT Lithium-Ion “Z” models (bare tools sold without a battery and charger), as well as select LXT combo kits ranging from the 2-piece LXT211 to the 15-piece LXT1500.

“The value offered on the LXT bare tools is an excellent opportunity to tool-up,” said Withey. “The LXT Series has 36 tools that will run off the Makita 18 volt Lithium-Ion battery, so this is a compelling incentive to jump-in.”

The “Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion” Promotion also includes a sweepstakes, offering an 18V LXT Lithium-Ion 15 Piece Combo Kit (LXT1500) to 10 grand-prize winners. For more information on Makita’s Experience 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Promotion, go to makitatools.com.
