Lucchetti’s Service Center Becomes First to Offer Recycled Motor Oil to its Customers

New EcoPower motor oil offers South Shore residents an earth-friendly oil change.

Lucchetti’s Service Center Inc., located in Mansfield, MA, is now offering earth-friendly oil changes using EcoPower, a brand new motor oil that is made from recycled motor oil.

“By choosing EcoPower for their next oil change, South Shore residents are helping to reduce greenhouse gases that affect global warming,” said Chris Lucchetti, owner of Lucchetti’s. “We like to say, ‘Change the Planet. Just Change Your Oil.’ There’s no easier way to be environmentally responsible — just drive up and ask for EcoPower recycled motor oil.”

“EcoPower, made by Safety-Kleen, is a recycled motor oil that meets or exceeds premium quality and performance standards,” said Eric Zimmer, senior vice president of marketing for Safety-Kleen, based in Plano, TX. “EcoPower launched this year in response to growing consumer demand for green products and services “In a recent market test, 46 percent of all consumers we surveyed had a much more positive opinion of retailers who offered our environmentally friendly oil change.”

EcoPower motor oil is available in 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-30 and 15W-40 viscosity grades. In addition, all major U.S. car manufacturers have approved the use of recycled motor oil. The EcoPower SAE 15W-40 grade has also been approved by leading heavy-duty engine manufacturers.
