Mitchell 1 and ACDelco Team Up/Collaborate to Deliver Web Integrated Service Environment (WISE) 3.0 Software

Mitchell 1 and ACDelco are pleased to announce they have teamed up/collaborated to deliver one of the most advanced shop management tools in the industry. The newest addition of ACDelco's Web Integrated Service Environment (WISE) software, WISE 3.0, is designed to help professional technicians stay on top of the latest technology, techniques and tools.

Mitchell 1 and ACDelco are pleased to announce they have teamed up/collaborated to deliver one of the most advanced shop management tools in the industry. The newest addition of ACDelco’s Web Integrated Service Environment (WISE) software, WISE 3.0, is designed to help professional technicians stay on top of the latest technology, techniques and tools. The new program delivers e-business solutions that integrate every facet of a shop’s business into a single, seamless process.

With the ACDelco WISE 3.0 program, technicians will benefit from a portfolio of software from Mitchell 1, which includes OnDemand5 Manager, OnDemand5 Estimator, OnDemand5 Repair and the new QuickBooks interface. With the OnDemand5 repair component, technicians have access to features that include full color, fully searchable and scalable system wiring diagrams, which are powerful, yet simple to navigate. The program has been redesigned to deliver sophisticated search capabilities with increased speed. It also provides time-saving shortcuts to TSBs, wiring diagrams and more.

The new QuickBooks interface provides efficient implementation of accounting data directly from Mitchell 1 into a shop’s QuickBooks files.

“Mitchell 1 is excited to team up / be involved / work with ACDelco on the new WISE 3.0 software and to provide the next-generation of products that will greatly enhance users’ features and benefits, which will ultimately increase their shops’ overall productivity and profits,” said Dan Kelley, director of strategic partnerships, Mitchell 1.

The WISE 3.0 program provides total business integration. Shops can easily establish lines of communication between the front office and service bays to eliminate redundant administrative tasks, speed the parts-ordering process by connecting directly to the warehouse distributor for accurate, real-time availability and pricing, track labor-time-per-repair order to manage technician productivity, and automatically compute the profit margin for each invoice.

“Simply put, participation in the WISE program presents a win for everyone. The independent service shop wins by having affordable electronic connectivity to a global parts provider integrated into a premier shop management system; the distributor wins with increased parts sales volume and lowered administrative costs; and Mitchell 1 and ACDelco win through the success of our customers and moving more of our products to those who need them,” said Dan Heritage, WISE quality assurance coordinator, ACDelco eBusiness Group.
