Registrants can order up to 200 Car Care Council check-up event inspection forms free of charge, and all registered shops and groups receive a certificate of participation upon completion of their event and submission of their completed forms.

“With more than 150,000 visitors a month, the Car Care Council’s website, www.carcare.org, is a great way to draw attention to your shop and any event you may be hosting during Fall Car Care Month,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “Not only will you be helping consumers learn more about proper vehicle care, but you will also help drive traffic to your event which hopefully will grow your business down the road.”

To assist organizations in conducting vehicle check-up events, the council has created tools to enhance their efforts, including a newly-updated “How To” DVD/CD and the one-of-a-kind Car Care Guide. In addition, visitors to the industry section of the council’s site will find “Be Car Care Aware” point-of-sale starter kits and a virtual store of fashionable apparel and premium items that are available for purchase.

The Car Care Council is the source of information for the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign, educating consumers about the benefits of regular vehicle care, maintenance and repair. For more information about the “Be Car Care Aware” campaign, visit the Car Care Council website at www.carcare.org.
