This past Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Atlanta, GA, Kyle Busch drove to his first victory of the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series on the most technologically advanced chassis parts in the business, SPICER Chassis (www.spicerchassis.com). At the Kobalt Tools 500, the number 18 car of the Joe Gibbs Racing team crossed the finish line just 2.066 seconds ahead of teammate and second-place finisher Tony Stewart.

“We have a great relationship with Joe Gibbs Racing, and it’s great to see Kyle get a win and Tony take second on SPICER Chassis,” said Ken Myers, Affinia marketing manager-branded product. “JGR has shown that when you choose SPICER Chassis, you are proving you are a leader, not merely a follower.”

With this win and his first victory in eight Sprint Cup races in Atlanta, Busch scored his fifth first-place finish in 118 Sprint Cup starts. He won for the first time since Bristol (March 25, 2007) and has racked up one win, three top-five and three top-10 finishes in four races this season.

SPICER Chassis parts provide quality coverage for 95% of all domestic and import vehicles on the road today. SPICER Chassis parts have the most stringent testing and evaluation procedures in the industry to produce parts that always match the fit, form and function of the vehicle’s original manufacturer specifications.
